This wonderful Victorian ring makes quite the statement! Remaining in superb condition, it features 8 oval claw set opals, with some of the best colour play i've ever seen, flashing neon orange, pink, yellow and red. These opals surround a central emerald of the most perfect spring grass green hue. The band is fully hallmarked for 18ct Gold, Birmingham and the year 1865.
It is currently a UK size M 1/2 which is a US size 6 1/4, but it could be re-sized up or down within reason.
I would say that the condition of this ring was absalutely excellent and the gems are all securely set. However, under a loupe you can see that the emerald has had a knock on one edge, giving it a small chip in one corner. This can only be seen under very high magnification, and it is not noticable at all when worn, but I'm mentioning for full disclosure.
Please have a look at the pictures and video, and dont hestiate to get in touch if you have any questions.
